Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

• Account: email, display name, OAuth login info (Google, Apple) if you choose that method.
• Written content: Project DNA, story bible, chapters, pipeline artifacts and operational logs needed to run Hermes.
• Technical: truncated IP address, browser type, session cookies and error logs for security and service improvement.
• Payment: NovelKit does not store card numbers; transactions are processed by our payment partner under their own policy.

2. How we use it

Data is used to run Studio, sync canon, run the AI pipeline, provide customer support, send important service notices, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

3. AI models and providers

To generate text, NovelKit may send project context (which you control inside your workspace) to an AI provider's model API per the pipeline configuration. Avoid putting unnecessary sensitive information into prompts or canon if you don't want it processed by the model layer.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored on infrastructure with access controls, transport encryption (HTTPS) and account-based permissions. File-first canon is stored inside the project workspace; you may export or request deletion per your plan's policy.

5. Cookies

The website uses cookies necessary for login sessions and language preference. Analytics cookies, if enabled, are used only for aggregate traffic measurement, not personalized ad tracking.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting support. Some data may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes.

7. Children

The service is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this policy as features or legal requirements change. The current version is always at novelkit.cc/en/privacy.
